Will NARPI offter work places of peacebuilding for students after training?

My question is: will NARPI offer a work place for students after training?

I am interested in peace training held by NARPI, but this subject has not been honored in China. That means that I will not have a place to use the skill. Could you please answer my question about work places provided by NARPI?

Q) How much does it cost to participate in NARPI?

A) NARPI courses are not free. You have to be responsible for your transportation and lodging beside tution.

However, there will be (part and full) sholarship options for some participants.  If you want to apply for the scholarship, you have to fill up a form which will be available 6 months before NARPI 2011.

Q) Where does NARPI take place?

A) NARPI is a mobile institute.  It moves from one country to another.

The first NARPI will be (most likely) held in South Korea, but it will be held in other countries in following years.

By rotating NARPI, the courses and contencts of NARPI can benefit the people and oragnizations of hosting countiries.

Possible hosting countries for NARPI so far are Japan, China, Taiwan, Mongolia, Far East Russia and South Korea.

Only country in NEA that NARPI has no contact yet is North Korea (DPRK) at this moment.  Hopefully, however, North Korean can also host NARPI sometime in future.

Q) What is 'NARPI'?

A) Northeast Asia Regional Peacebuilding Institute(NARPI) is a training and networking opportunity for people who are already working in the field of peace education, conflict resolution/transformation, restorative justice, social change in the region of Northeast Asia.

The idea of creating NARPI was born after discovering the needs of many activists and students for formal practical education and training in the areas they are already engaged in, or interested in engaging in peacebuilding.  NARPI is a place of (re)training for community leaders, students, NGO activists, professionals, scholars, religious leaders and government officials who are interested in deepening their theoretical knowledge of peace and conflict or sharpening their practical peacebuilding skills.
